Visited Vetal Tekdi, Pune for a trek: Time well spent on a weekend
I further felt happy on absence of litter at least on the route which we took from Apla Maruti towards Pashan gaon and back.
Looks like it’s my turn to share my experience on visiting Vetal Tekdi. I have to admit that I haven’t done much of trek/trail around Pune and though I was aware of this place I never planned to visit it .
A casual ‘get together’ session on Independence Day eve at office led to some discussion and some of us decided to meet for a trail walk at Vetal Tekdi.

I further felt happy on absence of litter at least on the route which we took from Apla Maruti towards Pashan gaon and back. Crowd too looked decent with no ‘chapri/guntha-mantri’ type of people spotted.
We were group of 10 people. We started around 7:45 and were back to parking by 9:45 AM.
I loved the place and sure will plan to come here more frequent.
